From March 25 to 28, the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025 was held on Dongyu Island in Boao, Hainan.
“Boao Forum for Asia provided space for discussions.” said Guy Ryder, UN undersecretary-general for policy, during a media interview at the forum. He noted that the UN currently faces numerous challenges - including setbacks in international rule of law, frequent regional conflicts and severe human rights issues - while China steadfastly supports multilateralism and has proposed three major global initiatives, demonstrating its responsibility as a major country.
